seeds

happy diwali. it seems like i was just wishing that, where does the time go?
some things making me happy:
my friend alanna and her sister's studio/gallery
this gorgeous photography by simon norfolk. click on normady beaches, the third pic in, "gold beach" leaves me speechless.
the decemberists new album the crane wife. song number three. colin's voice mixing with laura veirs is heaven.
i'm joining in with a crafter's night. yah! the first night is at my house tomorrow night. i can't wait. i think i'm going to make a few birds and do some mending. i'll let you know how i get on.

Fun! Crafter's night sounds great! And thanks for the feedback on my "spooky" decorations...those lanterns are from shoppers drug mart believe it or not! Happy Diwali to you too...what a beautiful thing...a festival of light!

a crafters night sounds like a lot of fun...if only i lived around enough crafters! im hoping to meet some who live close to me when i head out to art vs. craft for 2 days.
those seeds look tasty, but i have never tried a pomegranate before...maybe i'll get a couple today!
hi gwen,
you should come next time. i try to email you with some warning.
thank you tracy.
lisa s, i'm addicted to the decemberists. i'm trying to think of a baby-sitter for ollie so i can go see them in nov.
hi gracia, a few birds might have been a mighty goal now that i think about in the cold day of light.
hi erin, welcome. we are fortunate to have lots of crafters in vancouver and groups. it is really cozy and nice to have people over to your house though. pomegranates are fun, maybe buy a tiny one to try out.
